It's indeed a small world

Since my good old friend googled his name and found me via Jorge Andrada's blog "Half a Day’s Sales", a lot of things have transpired. Not only did I reconnect with him, but also with good old classmates from Saint Louis University Laboratory Elementary School in Baguio City. The SLU LES batch '86 newsgroup was recently formed. A reunion was already in the works before I joined the newsgroup. Now the task is to find most, if not all, of our batchmates.

Must be the best toy purchase I've done in recent memory. Instant gratification with pictures. No need to get the film developed (yeah, I know, I'm behind the times). I bought it 3 weeks ago in amazon.com. Just checked the price right now and is even cheaper. Haaayy! But then I wouldn't have known they were lowering the price. Now I just need to learn how to make quality photos...

Mystified

Here's a couple of mp3 tracks available for free download only in Barangay Amerika.

My latest track is called "Mystified". Warning: Turn down your volume first. Then turn it up gradually. It might blow your speakers.

My other track is "Kem-Bot". In case you do not understand the robotoid vocalist, the lyrics goes like this:

Baywang ikot
Baywang ikot
Baywang ikot
Pakembot-kembot

Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Enjoy!

These tracks are also available for listening here.

Woohoo! I got DSL.

Pardon the excitement. I got connected just before Christmas. Now I understand what I've been missing, hehe... Speaking of Christmas, I'd like to greet all of you a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!"

Electronica worth listening to

Check out "trust" by Filipino electronica artist g.no from Tampa, FL. The killer stutter effects (ala BT) is pretty cool! I wanna learn how to do that.

Cling, Clang, Psssstwssprrrt, Toing, Fwrrrp!

I'm venturing in electronica music composition. Got some "raw" tracks in www.soundclick.com/sinistralmonk. Feedback greatly appreciated. Vote in soundclick if the tracks are "hot" or "flop". Please vote "hot", hehe... Thanks!
