September 9, Sand Hill Road

We found this "trail" in Foghorn Outdoors' "Northern California Biking". The 15 mile loop starts out at the mall parking lot in front of Nordstroms and was capped by a late lunch at our favorite Japanese joint on University Ave: Miyake. We were so proud of Kamille when we finished it.
The Miyake leg is not really in the book but since you're around the area, it's the perfect motivation to burn all those calories. Yum.

Had my weekly prenatal check up yesterday. Was a little bit disappointed when the Nurse Practitioner told me I was still dilated 1 cm. After a week 1 cm pa rin? I have 13 more days till my due date. Maaga pa nga siguro. With our first daughter, Kamille, she came out 10 days early. Can't wait to see what our new baby will look like. Mukha rin kayang Pugak ang first photo niya? Hehehe!

Kamille got accepted for Kindergarten at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Redwood City, CA. She starts this coming Fall. When I opened the letter I was a bit teary-eyed. You would think that she was applying to an Ivy League school for college. She's only five but we are so proud of her accomplishments. She was a happy baby. She learned to walk at 10 months. She loves arts and crafts and is very advanced academically and socially for her age.
This April she's participating in a Soccer Clinic run by Carlos Schulze, a professional Soccer player from Chile. She's very excited about this and is looking forward to it.

Some people might not know yet but I am 10 weeks pregnant. It wasn't planned but we are still thankful for it. Our daughter just turned 5 last week and we think its just the right time to have another one. Or should I say the last one. I'm planning to have my tubes tied after I give birth in September. Friends keep hoping that the baby will be a boy this time. But frankly if we can just choose we'd still want a girl. But whatever God gives us we'll be grateful. We just hope and pray that he/she will be healthy.
